Gasodor® S-Free

Gasodor® S-Free is the world's first odorant certified by the DVGW and DIN to detect gas odours without any sulphur whatsoever. It has been setting completely new standards in natural gas odourisation since 2004.

This is because: the use of sulphur-free gas odorants, such as Gasodor® S-Free, reduces emissions of sulphur dioxide produced during the combustion of natural gas and sulphur-containing odorant.

This makes Gasodor® S-Free better for our climate and it is also more environmentally friendly than odorants containing sulphur, such as tetrahydrothiophene, THT for short, or mercaptans, for example tert-butylmercaptan, also known as TBM.
